My Bio
I am a modern day games enthusiast first and foremost, with a love of technology and art. I have finished studying 3D Computer Animation at university, so I am now looking to break into the games or graphics design industry to establish a career for myself. I currently live in Scotland, UK but hoping to be working anywhere in the world. I created this to showcase some of my previous/future work whether its 3D, graphics or drawing etc. I would also like to use this page as a portfolio in the event of any potential employers would like to hire me or offer voluntary work. I would be willing to do anything for experience.

To be more specific;

As a career I would love it to involve graphics, whether it would be a concept artist, UI artist, 3D modeller etc. My passion has came from a young age, I loved to draw and you would always find me doing it. As I progressed through school my art quality progressed and at the end of school I wanted to experiment with it in different ways. I went to college and studied in a course "HND Interactive Media" which introduced to me to many media elements e.g. Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator etc. After college I studied at university for 2 years doing 3D Computer Animation (w/ Games Development for 1 year). Sadly the course wasn't for me and I left, but I left with more knowledge and wider variety of options to produce work which I can hopefully show you through this page.

I have always had a passion for tattoo's, growing up looking at my Dad's always made me want one and now that I have them, I would love the opportunity to be taught on how to tattoo. Being able to permanently mark someones skin with your work/seeing it around in the public would feel unimaginably great. This has always been a second career opportunity for me and now I would like the chance to make that come true.

So ever since i've been doing my sketch-a-day, I've brought in five commissions (all free of-course), "Mitch's Snitch" being the first one i've completed. This is just an update to basically say things are picking up and even though i'm trying to use a variety of materials, I think i've found my strength in black and grey shading. Personally I don't know why but it seems to be the materials that click with me the most (if that makes sense?). I want to thank the people who have gave me these opportunities and to the people who have favourite/downloaded my work. It makes it feel worth while and gives me enthusiasm to keep continuing. Sketch A Day.

0 min read
For the past 4/5 days I have set my sights on wanting to become a tattoo artist, I've always had a passion for the art form and sought it as a possible career path. The only way thats going to happen is if I update/create an art portfolio. In preparation I have been doing a sketch a day, to improve my overall quality/speed of drawing and I have also been including different drawing materials to show variation. What I am trying to say is, keep watching this space. It might not be updated daily but when it is updated all the pieces I've created will be backdated and uploaded. Also if in any chance any tattooists would like to possibly offer m

Hi, I love the lines of your drawings. It gives them an adult nature and a nostalgic atmosphere (with the paper yellowed for drawing of the compass). I think if you start doing a comic strip in a steampunk universe you ought to have fun.
I also think that when you pass of paper to the tablet that will give you a great advantage. But that's just my opinion.

Thank you for your support by adding my image to your favorites.

Good luck !
Thank you for the kind words, its always nice to get feedback from the community. I would love to do some comic strips (especially steam punk), though I feel I do have a little trouble with drawing characters so before I produce anything on that front ill need to practice. I have used tablets here and there also, just not found one that fits my style of drawing yet, thats not saying there isn't any good tablets I just feel I have not found one for me that suits how I draw my pieces.

Also your welcome, I loved your image its very unique, vibrant and the idea of it is so simple yet complex. I applaud your creativity. Theres something about landscape pieces that I find relaxing, so when I saw yours it immediately caught my eye due to the above points. :)

Thanks and Good Luck,
Chris.
